I have written three plays for The Gaiety School of Acting: details on main blog re The Beloved (1995), The House in Gortnashee (1999), and Casa Lisa (2010).
The process here is similar to the community theatre work, but the key difference is that the only common bond that the actors/improvisers/devisers have is that they are all training to be actors; apart from that, there are the usual loves and hates that arise within any group of people who find themselves travelling down the same road together for a couple of years.
